Robyn and Duncan McNie welcome you and invite you to experience the ambience of a bygone era in our historic accommodation , previously the Hunterville post office built in 1903.
The atmosphere at “Rothesay” is friendly,relaxed and informal.
Our garden with stream is a perfect place to relax in after a day of travel.
Hunterville is centrally located in the lower North Island, a convenient two hour drive from Taupo and Wellington, making it an ideal stopover for the interisland ferry.
The Rangitikei district offers stunning scenery, many attractive gardens to visit, golf course and the river for fishing, rafting or just enjoying a picnic.
Our separate guest accommodation with all facilities is on the first floor in what was the postmasters residence.
