Hunterville is only five minutes from the magnificent Rangitikei River the home of trout fishing and the stunning Rangatira Golf Course situated on three levels with a cable car that ascends from the river terrace back to the 19th hole.
Fifteen minutes north is the home of river rafting and kayaking.
While you are here try the Mokai Canyon bungy jump or the 16o km / hr flying fox.
Alternatively take a tramp on one of the various tracks in the Rangitikei region.
If you prefer a quieter pastime try the local gallery, museum, gift shops , eat in the café or meander south to trawl the antique shops.
On your return relax in front of the fire in winter or in the garden in summer. |
